Suchithra believes that at its core, the role of a designer is to balance the functional needs of people with intangible factors that help them create meaning out of spaces. Through her focused and structured approach, she aims to do justice to this basic need.
Her travel experiences, love for reading and interest in movies sparked a curiosity, that made her explore the impact of culture and history on architecture. She is passionate about understanding how design can transcend utilitarian needs, and have a strong association with both the people who use the space, and the surroundings to which it belongs.
Raised in Mumbai, and currently settled in Bengaluru, Suchithra graduated from Academy of Architecture, Mumbai in 2018. She has worked at firms like Design Workshop by Shabbir Unwala, Edifice Consultants Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai and Design 4 Architects in Bengaluru. Her professional experience includes working on Museum Design, Design of Laboratory Buildings, Design and execution of Hospital Buildings and Residential Projects, to name a few.
